Frequently Asked Questions
Paid and Free Seats
Every plan comes with three seats with full access to the cluster. Additional paid seats can be purchased if needed for your organization.
You can also assign read-only, free seats to users who only need viewing access. These free seats do not count against your paid seat allocation.
To allocate additional paid seats or set up free read-only seats, please contact our support team.
Additional Backend Nodes
If your organization requires higher performance for MesoSim backtests or Q-API queries, additional processing nodes can be requested.
These additional nodes can significantly enhance processing speed for computationally intensive tasks, especially when running multiple jobs simultaneously.
Please contact our support team to discuss your performance needs and allocate more nodes to your cluster.
Space Management
Each plan includes 500GB of storage for your backtests, models, and data. If you need additional storage capacity, it can be purchased through our support team.
For managing your existing storage effectively, please refer to the Space Management page for detailed instructions on monitoring usage and freeing up space.
API Key Expiry
For security reasons, all API keys expire after six months. When a key expires, you may encounter HTTP 401 errors while attempting to access our APIs.
If your key has expired, simply log in to the MesoSim portal to generate a new API key. This regular rotation helps maintain the security of your account.
Performance
The system delivers optimal performance when running multiple backtests or model training jobs in parallel. Our infrastructure is designed for concurrent processing, allowing you to efficiently execute numerous tasks simultaneously.
Merlin serves as both a code example and a library that demonstrates how to implement parallel backtest execution and model training for maximum efficiency.
Data
Additional options data (Equity or Index options) can be added to your cluster if needed.
If you require specific data that isn't included in your current plan, please refer to our Bring Your Own Data page for details on how to incorporate your own datasets.
