FundPro provides a robust and secure infrastructure designed to maximize performance while maintaining security and reliability. Our architecture combines cloud and bare metal components to deliver optimal performance for your quantitative finance workloads.

Architecture Overview​

FundPro Architecture

The architecture consists of several key components:

Customer's FundPro Infrastructure​

  • Customer's Server - Your on-premises server that can connect to the FundPro infrastructure
  • Customer's Workstation - Desktop or laptop used to access the FundPro interface and APIs
  • Customer's Data Source - Your proprietary data sources that can be integrated with FundPro

Cloud Infrastructure​

  • Cloud Firewall - Enterprise-grade security to protect your data and access
  • Frontend & API Gateway - The interface for all interactions with the FundPro platform
  • Quantify - Our analytics engine for exploring backtest results
  • Load Balancer - Ensures optimal distribution of workloads

Bare Metal Infrastructure​

  • Backend Nodes - High-performance compute nodes optimized for FundPro workloads
  • Monitoring - Comprehensive system monitoring to ensure reliability
  • Data Ingest Nodes - Specialized nodes for efficient data ingestion from market data providers and your proprietary sources

Infrastructure Specifications​

Frontend Node​

  • Hardware: Cloud instance with 8vCPU / 16GB RAM / 1GBe network
  • Location: Deployed in your geography (Europe / North America / Asia)
  • Configuration: Available as single node or High Availability (HA) setup

Backend Nodes​

  • Hardware: Bare metal servers built to maximize FundPro performance
    • 16 Cores at 5GHz
    • 128GB RAM
    • 2x2TB NVME in RAID configuration
  • Location: Hosted in EU Data Centers (Germany & Hungary)
  • Purpose: Optimized for running complex backtests and models
